The other main mountains in the us is the pacific coast volcanoes, which is located in Washington, Oregon, and California. The famous volcanoes in this range are mt rainier, mt hood, and mt shasta. These are the highest volcanoes in the us and the world.the volcanoes are usually formed in the place where the tectonic plates meets.
